An outstanding stretch of freshwater
Sanguinet lake has a surface area of 5,800 ha, which makes it the second largest lake in France. This natural freshwater lake is a small paradise surrounded with greenery and pine forests. With its fine sandy beaches and shaded car parks, a bike path connecting Biscarrosse partly runs along it.
