Camper van areas Le Mounay
Day and night parking for motorhomes (camping-cars) and converted vehicles is governed by the conditions set out in the Ministry of the Interior circular of June 27, 1985, amended on October 19, 2004, and by municipal by-law no. 2024-01 of March 15, 2024.
During the summer season (May 1 to October 31)
- 8:00 am to 10:00 pm: parking without accommodation (January 1 to December 31)
Parking is authorized on all roads and accessible public spaces in the commune, on campsites, natural areas and farm campsites, as well as on the Bardets camper park, the Pavillon parking lot and the Mounay parking lot.
Parking is prohibited all year round within the forest perimeter and on the banks of the lake.
- 10.00 pm to 8.00 am: parking with accommodation (April 1 to October 31)
Parking is authorized exclusively on specially designated sites, campsites, natural areas, farm campsites, as well as at the Bardets motorhome park, the Pavillon parking lot and the Mounay parking lot. For reasons of health and environmental protection, priority will be given to parking at the Bardets site (water, drainage), then at the Pavillon parking lot (water, washbasins) when the latter is saturated, and finally at the Mounay parking lot when the Bardets and Pavillon sites are saturated;
Parking prohibited on the rest of the municipal territory.
At the Bardets motorhome park, at the See thePavillon profile parkinglot and at the Mounay parking lot:
- parking is subject to payment of a fixed fee, set by decision of the Mayor.
- Parking is limited to 48 hours in the Bardets area, 24 hours in the Pavillon parking lot and 24 hours in the Mounay parking lot.
- 10:00 pm to 8:00 am: parking with accommodation (November 1 to March 31)
Parking is authorized exclusively on specially designated sites, campsites, natural areas, farm campsites, as well as at the Bardets motorhome park, the Pavillon parking lot and the Mounay parking lot. For reasons of health and environmental protection, priority parking will be given to the Bardets site (water, emptying), then to the Pavillon parking lot (water, washbasins) when this site is saturated, and finally to the Mounay parking lot when the Bardets and Pavillon sites are saturated;
It is authorized on the rest of the communal territory, with the exception of :
- the strict natural protection zone governed by the coastal law (zone classified as N1 in the PLU, for further information, contact the Mairie)
- the forest perimeter
- the Place du Marché
- Espace Gemme
- Place de la Mairie
- the parking lot next to the church
- avenue des Grands Lacs between the Mairie traffic circle and the Braou traffic circle
In the event of meteorological vigilance and warnings from the Landes prefecture, motorhome users will have to move to the stadium parking lot.
PAYMENT TERMS
Payment must be made by credit card at the pay and display machine located next to the toilets in the Pavillon parking lot or at the Bardets parking area.
In the event of a breakdown, payment must be made on the 2nd machine.
