Saint Martin de Biscarrosse Church

This church of the 14th or 15th century is built in stone of Landes (Garluche). The three meters high portal is formed by two fluted columns ending in the top with two spires. The third bay of the south aisle was built in 1902. It was restored by the Municipality and the parish community.
The church has three naves: the main nave is 31m long and the side naves are 14m long. The chancel has a pentagonal shape. On each of these sides, there are five beautiful mullioned crosses. One can admire the pillars, the arches, the ribbed crossings and their keystones in white stone, the stained glass windows, the altars, without forgetting the woodwork and the ornaments.
